The City of Jaipur is located in the State of Rajasthan in the Northwest part of India. It is located about 250 km from New Delhi and Agra (the home of the Taj Mahal). Jaipur is well-connected by air, rail, and road to all major cities in India. The preferred international gateway for reaching Jaipur would be New Delhi, although Mumbai (formerly, Bombay) would also be an option. Visitors traveling to India must have a passport that is valid at least six months beyond the date of entry into the country and have a valid visa. The conference visa would be the appropriate option, although a tourist visa would be acceptable as well. If you choose to obtain the conference visa and need a letter of invitation from the conference organizers, please e-mail Lisa Macias at firstname.lastname@example.org
and a letter will be sent to you electronically.
Please be sure to obtain all travel documents and the visa well in advance of the conference, but no later than October 31, 2009 to avoid any last minute problems that may arise.
Additional travel and visa-related information will be posted soon. Please check back frequently for updates.
